London Metropolitan University
London Met has three campuses: Aldgate in East London, Moorgate in the City Centre of London and Holloway in North London.
The University's Accommodation Bureau understands that finding a place to stay is a particularly important issue for those students coming to London from overseas and aims to provide help and support in finding an appropriate place to stay for all London Met students.
London Met does not have its own halls of residence, but can advise students on the many providers of student accommodation in London. The University has access to rooms in a number of different halls close to all university buildings. The halls offer a range of facilities for students to choose between. London Met has three campuses: Aldgate in East London, Moorgate in the City Centre of London and Holloway in North London:
The Aldgate Hub is where the art, architecture, media and design courses are taught. Aldgate is only minutes away from vibrant Brick Lane; home to a long stretch of curry houses, vintage clothing stores, cheap bars, market stalls and eclectic art.
The Holloway Hub is where science, computing, social sciences and humanities courses are taught. The buildings are next to the famous Emirates Stadium, home to Britain’s premiership football team Arsenal.
Situated in the heart of the City, Moorgate campus houses the Business School. Students at Moorgate get to experience an exciting part of the capital in which skyscrapers overlook London’s creative district.
London Met offers many learning resources including libraries at each of the hubs and access to a wealth of electronic resources. The facilities at London Met are designed to make students industry ready. These include a mock Courtroom, Newsroom, Trading Room and a £30 million Science Centre.
