If you are flexible when it comes to doing things in a different way than at home and if you like to meet new people and explore different ways of living, then you will most likely have a great experience while studying abroad.

The internet has made it a lot easier to keep in touch with friends and family at home, but in the end it will be up to you to fix any problems or challenges you meet while you are studying abroad. Don't let this scare you though. Making new friends and challenging yourself is a part of the journey and after a while in a foreign country you will discover that you have grown as a person. Most students say they have become more confident by studying abroad. They discovered that they were fully capable of managing a lot of the challenges they met by themselves.
