By studying Entrepreneurship at QUT in Brisbane – which is one of the leading universities within Entrepreneurship – you’ll be one step closer to achieving your goal.

As a student you can choose to take individual units in entrepreneurship from the QUT Business School or develop entrepreneurial thinking and strategic decision making skills by choosing the “Bachelor of Business (Management)” entrepreneurial stream. If research is more your interest, then QUT also hosts the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research (ACE).

Studying at QUT is not just about the classroom! “QUT Starters” is a student run society supporting students from all disciplines who have interest in discovering their inner entrepreneur. They do this through connecting with the local start-up community, industry, running workshops and hosting events. Doors are open to you and anyone interested in entrepreneurship or innovation, regardless where you come from or how long you are studying at QUT.

As a student at QUT you will build on a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation and get involved in the Business Advantage Program. “QUT Starters” is a free program about developing you as a leader and gain entrepreneurial skills through interaction, discussion, cooperation and debate with other students, and business, government, education and community leaders.

Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at QUT, March 2017

Is it possible to start a company in a week? It is at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp that is taking place at QUT in Australia, March 2017. This will be the first time that the Bootcamp has been held in Australia and QUT was who MIT chose to partner with!

The highly-selective camp condenses a one year MIT course into a week-long, action-based learning experience for potential entrepreneurs picked from across the world. As part of the intensive schedule, participants will be trained to use innovation to solve real-world challenges before pitching their solutions to a panel of global investors. It is an excellent platform for up-and-coming entrepreneurs seeking to attract investors.
