East Lansing is located in south central Michigan, a few miles east of the state capital Lansing. East Lansing hosts many annual art, music, food and film festivals.

Michigan is surrounded by the Great Lakes, has interesting historical and cultural sites, beautiful beaches, ski hills and exciting cities. Students can easily explore nearby cities. Detroit is 75 minutes by car, Chicago is 3.5 hours by car and Toronto, Canada is 4.5 hours by car.

Transport

Campus is 15 minutes from Lansing Capital City Airport, and 75 minutes from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. A safe and easy bus system operates from campus. Students can purchase daily, weekly or semester long passes. Bicycle rental/purchase and repair is located on campus and in nearby East Lansing.
