Sydney's public transport system makes it easy to get around by bus, trains and ferries. The Macquarie University campus is accessible by bus and train from the city centre and the surrounding areas. International students studying in New South Wales are able to purchase discounted MyMulti passes, for multiple trip travel on trains, buses, ferries, and light rail. During academic periods, Macquarie provides a free shuttle bus that stops at university locations such as Macquarie University Train Station, sport and aquatic centre and library. The free shuttle bus also operates night time for staff and students, between 6pm and 10:30pm. The bus route covers the entire campus (carparks, colleges, libraries, bus interchanges, on-campus housing and the train station).
